Dr Jo-Ann Jose treats patients with infectious diseases, specializing in HIV care and prevention. Additional areas of clinical interest include tropical medicine and parasitology, determinants of health inequities, antimicrobial stewardship, medical education, global health/international medicine, travel medicine, public health, health care systems and processes. She uses a highly collaborative approach in her practice, providing a safe and welcoming medical environment, education and counseling about treatment options, and shared decision making with the patient.
She is interested in HIV-related clinical research and quality improvement measures, medical education and antimicrobial stewardship.
